Dr. Duc Nguyen
Born in Philadelphia, Dr. Duc Nguyen is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he furthered his training with a General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. It was there that he received the prestigious Resident of the Year award. After completing his education in New York, Dr. Nguyen moved to the San Diego area and has been practicing here ever since.
Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to treating all his patients with respect for their individual oral health needs. He respects your time and wishes and believes that we can best help you achieve optimal oral health through mutual respect and understanding. Dr. Nguyen practices all phases of dentistry, focusing on comprehensive family dental care. He practices with a conservative mindset and an emphasis on saving teeth.
Dr. Nguyen is a big fan of NFL football, and roots for his hometown, the Philadelphia Eagles. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, cooking, and binge-watching TV shows. But his favorite activity is spending time with his wife Mirna and daughter, Ava.

I went to see him after a dentist tried to tell me I needed over $3,000.00 in additional work (after my previous visit 6 months ago showed no problems). Then I found Dr. Casciari. We reviewed the advice and while he would not deride the other dentist he did assure me that those services were not necessary for me to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
